Painting the Wheels
The wheels were in pretty rough shape to start with but once the car body was painted, the contrast between the body and the wheels made the old wheels look even uglier. It was definitely time for a wheel "make over".
I removed the tires from the wheels and then sand blasted the wheels to bare metal. After priming the wheels, the front side of the wheels were painted Argent Silver and the back side of the wheels were painted Flat Black. The Argent Silver and Flat Black paints were purchased from Corvette Central.
